Councillor Caterina Released from Hospital

November 25, 2010

City of Edmonton Councillor Tony Caterina was released from hospital November 24 after suffering a minor stroke earlier in the week. He is recovering at home.

Councillor Caterina checked himself into University of Alberta Hospital on November 20 after experiencing minor symptoms. Doctors reported he is now doing well, and he is active and in good spirits. Though he will now be on four weeks rest at home, he will be participating in Council meetings by telephone.

Anyone wanting to send greetings or well-wishes should contact Councillor Caterina’s office. The family thanks all those who have passed along their wishes for a speedy recovery.
