Celebrate all the excitement the 2010 Winter Olympics have brought to Canada with the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s Animal Olympics.
Date: Sunday February 28, 2010Time: noon – 4pm

Admission: Child $4, Youth/Senior $6, Adult $8, Family/Grandparent $24
Annual pass, multi-facility and leisure access program passes also accepted.
Meet Judy Diduck, 1998 Olympic Silver Medallist in Ice Hockey and cheer on your favorite animal in the Amazing Animal Races. Will it be a guinea pig, a rat, an armadillo, a skunk, a tortoise or maybe a hare that will prove to be victorious?
Watch some of the Edmonton Valley Zoo staff compete in the Zookeeper Olympics and help cheer on your favorite athlete! Visit the Athletes’ Village Station to make an Olympic Medal craft or check out the Top of the Podium Petting Zoo. Take a break and enjoy the Olympic Flame Face painting or enter to win some Vancouver 2010 prizes.
Listen to an educational talk: Animal Athletes - Who’s Fastest and Who’s Strongest? There will also be animal encounters and surprises to keep you in the Olympic spirit.
