Whether you’re a local history buff, or making plans for your final resting place, take a trip to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Open House.

Date:  Saturday April 24, 2010
Time:  12–4pm
Location:  Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 5420 106 St.

You’ll be able to view the cemetery’s indoor niche building, get help locating your ancestors' gravesites, or take a walking tour of the resting spots of some of Edmonton’s most prominent founders and characters.

You’ll also be able to discuss your pre-planning needs at the open house.

The Mount Pleasant Cemetery is the only hilltop cemetery in Edmonton. With commanding views of the southside and downtown, the historic cemetery reflects its Strathcona roots.
