Celebrate Historic Heroes at Fort Edmonton

Meet some of Edmonton’s most admired heroes of the past during Fort Edmonton Park’s Heroes of History day.

Location:  Fort Edmonton Park (Whitemud Drive and Fox Drive)
Admission:  Child $7; Youth/Senior $10.50; Adult $13.75; Family/Grandparent $41.50
Annual pass, multi-facility and leisure access program passes also accepted.

Start in 1846 and discover the most powerful man West of Winnipeg, Chief Factor John Rowand of the Hudson’s Bay Company. Let John McDougall, Frank Oliver, Fanny Ottewell and other settlers tell you about the struggle to build Edmonton’s foundation on 1885 Street.

On 1905 Street, celebrate the start of a bright new century with Nellie McClung and the Rutherford family. Fly over to 1920 Street and ace Wilfred “Wop” May will enchant you with his stories of adventure.
