Preview of the Boyle Renaissance Advisory Committee Final Report

The Boyle Renaissance Advisory Committee (BRAC) is presenting a preview of their report to City Council to the public:

Date: Tuesday, December 9, 2008
Time: 7 - 9 p.m.
Location: City Room, City Hall

The report includes recommendations to City Council on the proposed Boyle Renaissance initiative, including:

The BRAC report and its 13 recommendations to City Council.
Proposed first phase of development.
Proposed roles for the City of Edmonton and participating agencies

City Council will receive the report in 2009.

The Boyle Renaissance Advisory Committee was created in Spring 2008 to assist the City in shaping the Boyle Renaissance concept, address issues and concerns about the initiative and bring it to life. The committee included representatives from community, social service and health care agencies, discussing how to meet the housing, medical, cultural, social and recreational needs of downtown Edmontonians.
