Edmonton Valley Zoo Presents Happy Zoo Year

Happy Zoo Year is the ultimate New Year's Day event! Join the Valley Zoo in saying goodbye to 2008 and hello to 2009.

Create an amazing wax hand candle, construct a Chinese New Year clay critter and explore the winter animal coat touch table. Relax with a warm festive beverage and a tasty treat while enjoying some live holiday music. Get up close and personal through a variety of animal encounters and enjoy special interpretive talks focused on winter adaptations.

This is also a great opportunity to take in displays focused on the exciting changes in store for the Valley Zoo in 2009 and the upcoming 50th birthday celebrations. Make sure you mark this date in your calendar – it will be the perfect start to your zoo year!
