Seeking Public Input for Edmonton’s Seniors Declaration

What does it mean to be a senior in Edmonton? The City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council want to hear from you. Your input will help create Edmonton’s Seniors Declaration—an acknowledgement of seniors’ contributions to Edmonton and a guide for future municipal policies that will help build a more “age-friendly” city.
Help develop the declaration by answering four questions:
- What does the word “senior” mean to you?
- What do seniors contribute to Edmonton?
- How can seniors be encouraged to be active community participants?
- What barriers exist for seniors and how can these barriers be removed?
