Nominate Your Favourite Taxi Driver by November 7

The Vehicle for Hire Commission is requesting nominations from customers, taxi brokers, businesses, hotels, organizations, institutions or agencies to find the best drivers in Edmonton.
Categories include:
- Best Taxi Driver Customer Service
- Best Wheelchair Accessible Taxi Driver
- Best Dressed Taxi Driver
- Best Taxi Vehicle
- Best Shuttle Driver
- Best Limousine Driver
“The vehicle for hire industry is an essential part of our transportation system and greatly contributes to Edmonton’s economic, social, recreational and personal needs,” says Phil Fearon, Chief Livery Officer, City of Edmonton. “Drivers are the front-line ambassadors for visitors and citizens travelling in Edmonton. We want to encourage and recognize exceptional and professional customer service.”
Winning drivers will receive a personalized certificate from the Commission and gifts from event sponsors. They will also be personally congratulated by Mayor Stephen Mandel at the 6th Driver Appreciation Awards Day Wednesday, November 18.
