Edmonton’s Fort Edmonton Park presents Harvest Fair

Bring the family down for a good old-fashioned day filled with delightful music, crafts, games and family entertainment. Kids will have a great time at the petting zoo, trying the hobby horse barrel racing, and making butter. Costumed interpreters will be busy throughout the park harvesting gardens, performing daily chores and sharing stories of long ago. See traditional horse-drawn and mechanical farm implements as they harvest the fields.

Help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Edmonton Horticultural Society (EHS) by participating in a historical horticultural bench show. These bench shows were once considered the social highlight of the summer season! There are several floral and vegetable categories to choose from and free admission will be awarded to those competing in the show. Pre-registration is required and all details are available by visiting fortedmontonpark.ca or by calling 780-451-7507.
