TEC Edmonton

Description/Purpose

TEC Edmonton is the exclusive provider for technology transfer activities of the U of A, and manages the Venture Prize and Deal Generator programs. In particular, TEC Edmonton will:

Develop ideas, people and business opportunities in the high growth, technology-based business sectors of Edmonton and the greater Capital Region.
Consolidate and enhance the existing innovation related services of the University of Alberta and the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation into a single Edmonton regional centre where researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and early-stage or expanding technology-based companies can access integrated programs, services, expertise, and resources to succeed in company development and the generation and commercialization of new ideas and technologies.
