Neighbourhood and Community Development develops, manages, and supports recreation, culture, and preventative social services.
Branch Services
Community Building (East. West, South)
Community Building focuses on community and organizational development throughout the City of Edmonton by creating and maintaining social and recreational programs for residents.
Social Development
Social Development facilitates the assessment, short term counselling, intervention teams and prevention of family violence. Social Development also provides the Family and Community Support Services program.
The Office of Great Neighbourhoods
The Office of Great Neighbourhoods, works with community stakeholders to improve the quality of life in their neighbourhoods.
Community Investment
Working closely with our communities, this section is responsible for the partnerships liaison, the Community Recreation Program team, and grant administration.
