Chair of Donate-A-Ride. The only City Council created charity. Donate-A-Ride developed in 1996 by former City Councillor Allan Bolstad raises money to purchase transit tickets which are then distributed to numerous charitable agencies through the City that are then provided to Edmontonians in need.

City Initiatives

Chair of Edmonton's Next Generation Task Force – 23 Member Task Force that is tasked with developing suggestions for consideration by City Council on how we can position our City as the choice for young people to live.
Spearheading with Councillor Michael Phair the Child Friendly Edmonton Initiative.
Working on the Customer Satisfaction and Input Initiative with City Councillor Karen Leibovici.
Working to help when needed, the Youth Engagement Steering Committee. (A committee comprised of all levels of government and agencies that work with at-risk-youth to overcome barriers they face in getting a job in the Capital Region)
