How do I Participate in the LTEL Program?

2011/2012 LTEL Project

With completion of the initial LTEL project, work is underway to identify a follow-up project.  Experience gained from the inaugural LTEL program is driving further process revisions within the City of Edmonton to improve the 2011/2012 initiative.

The following improvements are currently being pursued…

  •  City procurement processes are being refined and simplified to better address the specific needs for engaging smaller, newer, local companies.
  • Alignment with the City’s Open Government initiatives and options for sharing candidate internal IT service requests with the general public are being explored.
  • A formalized process for local companies to engage the City of Edmonton with unsolicited information technology proposals to fulfil publicized internal service requests.

The above improvements, in combination with the established candidate selection criteria listed below, are being used to identify an appropriate City of Edmonton business challenge opportunity for the 2011/2012 program.

Stay tuned for 2011/2012 program updates coming in late October.
