Edmonton Taskforce on Community Safety
The Edmonton Taskforce on Community Safety was appointed by Mayor Stephen Mandel in September 2008 to seek answers on how to make Edmonton a safe community with reduced crime and improved safety for Edmontonians.
Headed by co-chairs Fred Rayner and Lindsay Kelly, the taskforce brings together diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and has released its findings and recommendations in the REACH report.

The REACH report is a 10-year plan to create a culture of community safety in Edmonton in one generation. It was created by a group of community leaders who consulted more than 500 Edmontonians and more than 45 service agencies
