To register for a program online, click on the course code.

Be sure to have your Personal Bar Code(s) and Family PIN ready. You can apply for these numbers online, and receive them quickly if you provide an email address (otherwise they'll be mailed to you within 3-4 business days).

Private Swim Lessons - Persons with Disabilities

Ages: 4+ years

Get the individual attention your child needs. Swim instructor will work one-on-one with your child and focus in on what strokes or skills needs to be improved.

SURF - Social. Unique. Recreational. Fun.

SURF programs are designed for adults with developmental or multiple disabilities. All participants who require an attendant are to supply their own for the program. Program includes time for breaks. Participants can bring or purchase snacks. All SURF programs are fee reduced and take place at the ACT Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Additional discounts not applicable. SURF Crafts

Ages: 18+ years

A creative program that offers the opportunity to meet new people and experience a variety of crafts. $35 craft material fee is included in the price. Maximum 22 participants.

SURF Fitness Night

Ages: 18+ years

This is an active program that includes evenings of swimming, personal fitness, sports, and games. Maximum 45 participants.

Extra fees for outings or special events may apply.

SURF Social Night

Ages: 18+ years

The focus of this program is a variety of recreational activities centred on a principle theme for that evening. This includes seasonal activities, dancing, arts, culture, games and an outing all within the natural beauty of Rundle Park. Maximum 60 participants.

SURF Outing Club

Ages: 18+ years

This program allows participants to experience different activities throughout Edmonton. The groups will meet on the first night and help plan some of the outings. All costs for outings are extra and please note most of the outings require Personal Care Attendants to pay. This program is great for individuals who like to get out into the community and try new things. Maximum 20 participants.

SURF Nature Recreation

Ages: 18+ years

This program is based on an outdoor recreation theme which provides opportunities to learn and practice outdoor skills and gain an appreciation for Mother Nature. This program consists of a variety of outdoor activities. Please come dressed appropriate for the weather each week. Maximum 22 participants.

Teen Quest

Ages: 14-17 years

Teen Quest is a recreational program for teens with developmental or multiple disabilities. Teens participate in various activities like crafts, games, swimming, outings, and much more.

All participants will be required to fill out a registration form prior to the start date of the program.
