Kinsmen Kids Den - Child-minding Service

Ages: Newborn to kindergarten

The Kids Den is a babysitting service for children aged newborn to kindergarten (ages newborn to 11-years-old for evening hours). It is a fun and safe place for your children to be active while you enjoy your recreational pursuits.

You must remain in the facility while your child is in the Kids Den.

Parents register and pay admission for the child-minding service at the front desk. This service is not included in admission to the facility.

Child-to-Staff Ratio

The Kids Den follows the Alberta Government guidelines for drop-in daycare centres:

3 - 4.5 yrs  8:1
4.5 years and up 10:1

Note: Staff reserve the right to turn away children to maintain staff to child ratios.

Kinsmen Indoor Playground & Kin Kids Fitness Centre

Ages: Up to 10-years-old

The playground is located in the Kin Kids Fitness Centre on the 1st floor of the Kinsmen Sports Centre.

Explore a world of play with your preschooler. Enjoy our drop-in indoor playground where children can climb, slide, balance, and roll in a spacious room full of tyke-sized play equipment.

You must supervise your children at all times when they are in the playground.

Facility admission rates apply for access to the Indoor Playground.

admission annual pass.

Inflatables Playground

Let your kids bounce off the wall! Bring your kids to the Kinsmen Sports Centre and let them burn off some energy in the new inflatable playground. Safe jumpy fun!

3 sizes of inflatables for different ages to choose from. Parental supervision is required at all times. Rules are posted. Some restrictions apply. Subject to change.

Preschool Wheels Program

Pull your PRESCHOOLERS’ bikes, trikes and ride-on toys out of storage for a morning of fun and adventure! Kids will enjoy riding on our indoor track and pedaling their way to fun. Note that bikes are not provided. Parents/guardians must supervise their children. Please remember your helmets and bike safety equipment.

Note: This drop-in program is designed for children using a tricycle or small bicycle with training wheels.
