Gymnasiums
The City of Edmonton is a central booking agent for gymnasiums within the Edmonton school system (including Edmonton Public School Board, Edmonton Catholic School Board and Conseil Scolaire Centre-Nord) and the City of Edmonton Recreation Facility gyms (Central Lions Senior’s Centre, ACT and Commonwealth Stadium).If your group is a registered not-for-profit group or an informal organization you are eligible to book a school gymnasium through the City of Edmonton and the Joint Use Agreement. City of Edmonton gymnasiums are also available for booking at the rates listed below.

To Request a Gym Booking
September 2009 to June 2010
If you are a new gymnasium user, please fill out the Gymnasium Application Form 2009-2010.
All applications are processed in our office in the order that they are received. Please note, your application form is a request only; booking dates are not confirmed until we contact you and create a license agreement.
We are currently experiencing high volumes of gymnasium requests and are processing applications as quickly as possible. The current wait time for application processing is a minimum of 2 weeks. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
If you have a current 2009/2010 License Agreement and would like to request additional time, pease email your request to gymbookings@edmonton.ca We require your License Agreement number and the dates/times/facility(s) that you would like to book.

To Cancel a Gym Booking
Written notification of cancellation dates must be submitted by Fax 780-577-3527 or Email gymbookings@edmonton.ca.
Please note that 16 days notice must be provided for any cancellations.
