Game Day Guide
Public Safety
Additional police and security will be onsite at Commonwealth Stadium and throughout the neighbourhood during the game and immediately following. If you are coming to the game in a costume, consider using face make-up instead of a mask. Fans wearing masks will be required to remove them when asked by hospitality services, security, or police.
Individuals may be subject to inspection prior to entry. Commonwealth Stadium is monitored by video cameras and all activity is recorded.
A child safety wristband program is available at the information booths on the East and West concourse of Commonwealth Stadium to help reunite lost children with parents/guardians.
An alcohol policy is in effect to assist with responsible consumption. Individuals who appear to be intoxicated will be sent home in a taxi or with a sober family member or friend. Drunk and disorderly behaviour may also result in arrest and prosecution. Members of the Commonwealth Stadium staff and Edmonton Police Service are available to assist at all times, and the public is asked to report any unacceptable behaviour.
Transportation and Parking
Please leave early to avoid the Halloween rush. While enroute to the game, watch out for children who will be trick-or-treating.
The new Green and Go program will provide free service on LRT, Park and Ride, and regular transit for two hours before and after each home game to anyone holding an Eskimo ticket. Park and Ride service with free parking is available at the following location:
- Mill Woods Town Centre
- Burns City Lot
- Davies City Lot
- Calder City Lot
- Kingsway Garden Mall
- West Edmonton Mall
For Park and Ride, regular transit fares apply to those without Eskimo tickets. Transit passes do not apply.
Parking restrictions will be in effect with no-parking and permit-only areas clearly marked. City of Edmonton Bylaw Enforcement will be in the neighbourhood ticketing and towing illegally parked vehicles. Stadium Road will be closed at 6pm and remain closed for the duration of the game.
Bike racks are available on the south side of the stadium.
