Stormwater Lakes
These stormwater management lakes are open for public use. Drainage Services oversees all use of these lakes, and certain restrictions and conditions are in place to ensure that health and ecological issues are properly addressed.
Permissible Activities
CAUTION: Swimming, wading, fishing, board-sailing, water skiing, kayaking, scuba diving, and any use of inner tubes and small inflatables or any activity that may result in direct contact with the water are prohibited.
Note: The Parks Department provides advice and information on request concerning recreational lakes within Edmonton. These lakes are located at William Hawrelak, Rundle, Gold Bar and Hermitage Parks. Contact the City for information about River Valley Parks at 311 for more information.
