Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park
Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, or Laurier Park, is in the west end. It sits on the north bank of the river and extends from Whitemud Drive (west) to Buena Vista Drive (east). It covers about 83 hectares (205 acres) and includes the area used by the Valley Zoo. The park features a boat launch and fishing is allowed in the river.
No dogs, please.
There is an off-leash site north of Laurier Park and Buena Vista Drive.
